Q. What happens if the resource I scan is not on loan?

When in Multi-Return and returning a number of resources in quick succession, an item that is not actually on loan may be scanned or selected. If this happens, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen for notifying you that it is currently not on loan.

Q. What happens if I do not have the resource barcode?

You can click the Find... button and search for the resource by title/author/keyword.

Q. How do I locate a pupil using a Biometric device or RFID scanner?

Assuming the hardware is set up and working, all you need to do is scan the RFID card or put the finger/thumb you registered your print with on the scanner and the account will automatically be loaded in to Circulate.

Q. What happens when a resource I scan is not in the catalogue?

If you scan a resource barcode and the system cannot find a match, a message will show at the bottom of the Circulate window reading "Resource not Found". In the event this happens, you will likely find a Find... button on the screen you are on, which allows for a title search. This can be used to locate the book in the interim, allowing you to look at why the book wasn't found later. Usually, resources are not found in Circulate for two reason; the barcode masks have not been configured or the book has not been catalogued.

Q. How to view Borrower details from Circulate?

Should you need to check the Borrower details when in Circulate, you can click the Details button to load their record. From here, you can make amendments to their account as necessary, similarly to how you change the details from their record card.
