Resources Colour Coding

Throughout the system, resources and borrowers in the grid are colour coded to make it easy to visually identify what the current status of a record is.

 

When in Resources for example, the records will either show in black, green, blue or red. The legend below explains the meaning of each colour.

 

Record Colour

Definition

 

 

Red

Red resources are on loan and overdue

Blue

Resource is on loan and not overdue.

Green

Items that are green are reserved

Black

Shows that the item is available.

 

 

The colours in the table above are also in order of precedence. A resource may be more than one status and if this is the case the colour nearest the top of the table wins. For instance, if a resource is Reserved and Overdue, the colour in the grid will show as red.

 

 

 

It is not possible to modify this colour code, the system will automatically calculate the correct colour depending on whether an item is available or not.
