Borrowers Colour Coding

Throughout the system, resources and borrowers in the grid are colour coded to make it easy to visually identify what the current status of a record is.

 

 

 

When in Borrower for example, the records will either show in black, green, blue or red. The legend below explains the meaning of each colour.

 

Record Colour

Definition

 

 

Red

Borrower has overdue Loan(s)

Blue

Borrower has a book on loan.

Green

The Borrower has an active Reservation

Black

Shows that the Borrower is has no loans or reservations

 

 

The colours in the table above are also in order of precedence. A resource may be more than one status and if this is the case the colour nearest the top of the table wins. For instance, if a resource is Reserved and Overdue, the colour in the grid will show as red.

 

 

 

It is not possible to modify the colour coding, the system will automatically calculate the colour in the grid based on the users status.
