A floor plan is diagram/map of the library which is used to help borrowers locate resources in the library. The picture below shows an example of a floor plan:

 

 

 

When a borrower is browsing the resources on the computer, if a resource has been associated on the floor plan then a flashing blip  shows where the resource is located in the library. It is easy to set up and quick to associate resources with a location on the floor plan and is a real benefit to anyone browsing the library catalogue.
