How do I automatically delete reservations?

When a resource is reserved, the reservation will remain valid until the item is issued to the appropriate borrower.

The system may be configured to automatically cancel and delete reservations when they become at a set age.

To being, click on Settings/Reservations from the horizontal menu bar at the top of the screen.

To set a period to pass before reservations become invalid, enter this as a number of days in the Delete reservations older than field. Reservation records that become invalid by this feature are then automatically deleted during Housekeeping.

The user may also stop reservations being made for resources which are not on loan. Tick the Stop reservations for on shelf resources checkbox to enable this if required.

Click OK to save changes and return to the previous screen.
