In addition to linking borrowers to AD on a schedule, it is also possible to link them individually one at a time. This process does not require the borrower first name and surname to match the ones entered into Active Directory as the logon name is used to query the directory services instead.

This process will only work on the machine where the hardware plugin has been installed and configured.

·Open a borrower record card and click on the Advanced tab.

·Type in the Windows logon name of the borrower into the Logon Name text box and place a tick in the Active Directory Linked box.

·Next, click Save. When this button is clicked, the system will connect to Active Directory as defined in the connection details, obtain and then store the borrower’s Security ID against the associated record.
