This topic demonstrates how to nominate books as future books of the week. Once a book is nominated as a future Book of the Week, over the coming weeks the library application will automatically update the Book of the Week for you. In addition to nominating books, it may be desirable to immediately force an item as the Book of the Week to try and raise interest in the book. This topic does not discuss how to do this but for instructions see the topic Forcing a New Book of the Week.

·To add a book to the list, open the Book of the Week interface then click Add...

·A familiar Find Resources window will open.

·Type in a phrase or word in the Quick Search box and press ENTER on the keyboard or click the green arrow  to perform the search.

The results will display in the Find Resource box as shown below.

·Click on a title to highlight it and then click Select at the bottom right.

Please note that only books which have a cover/photograph can be added and nominated as a  Book of the Week.

·That title is then added to the Book of the Week list.

This process can then be repeated for as many books as necessary.
