iMLS is the smart phone application that can be used with your Eclipse.net and Junior Librarian.net library systems. Using iMLS, students, staff and parents can view the library catalogue from their tablet or phone. They can write book reviews about books they have read and browse the catalogue for resources that they would like to read. The latest edition also includes cataloguing, Stock Checking and circulation features, where authorised users can catalogue and issue resources, stock check when running a stock check and add resources to stock all from the mobile app.

 

The iMLS app allows students, parents and staff to access the school library from a mobile phone or tablet. When you are using a library system that is hosted by MLS, you can ensure that your library resources are accessible anywhere, anytime to your whole school community.

Some features in iMLS are currently only available on some mobile operating systems. Full iMLS functionality is available for both iOS and Android, whereas the following features are currently unavailable on the Windows Mobile and Blackberry devices:

Throughout this guide, screenshots from a device running iOS are used. However, steps are very familiar on Android and Windows devices
