Active Directory Integration

Eclipse.net and Junior Librarian.net can integrate with Active Directory for the purpose of linking borrower logon names to the accounts in the library system. This is desirable so that users are automatically logged in to the home page rather than them requiring to remember a username and password that is different to what they log on to the computer with. Automatic login works only within the school network. For SSO outside of the network, see the topics on Shibboleth.

Though the topics in this section explain what each setting in the application can do, for setup information we strongly recommend that you refer to the Installation Guide or AD troubleshooter when you are using a local or hosted version, respectively.
