The landing page can be enabled to make it easier for users to access a site should there be several set up and if it is unlikely that the borrowers know the URL to access. When the landing page is enabled and the home page of the library system opened, it will look something like this:

In the example above, the user can then click the site they wish to browse resources on. Often when there are several sites defined in an organisation, the landing page will be enabled so borrowers can easily access each one without having to remember the site name / URL. The site that is clicked will also open the default interface associated with that site. For instance, the Junior site in the example above is allocated to the Junior 'Classic' interface so that will show when this site is accessed.

To enable the landing page, follow the steps below.

·Access the landing page settings.

·Enter a description and click the Show Site Landing Page button to enable it.

If a description is entered, this will display under "Welcome to" when accessing the landing page.

·Upload a logo using the Upload controls if desired. The logo will display at the very top left corner of the page.

·To configure other sites to show on the landing page, access the Other Sites tab and type in the URL of the site to add.

·Click OK to save any changes made.
