The Top Ten and New Arrivals are news items that show on the Eclipse and Junior interfaces.
·New Arrivals checks the resources database to find the most recently added items. You can specify the number of resources that are listed on the home page and also which resource types are included.
·Top Ten checks past loans to find the ten resources that have been issued most frequently over a period of time.
To start customising the settings for the New Arrivals and Top Ten, click Tools / New Arrivals & Top Ten... from the top menu.
New Arrivals
Click on the New Arrivals tab to see the settings.
·Enter the number of new resources you would like to appear. In the Junior Librarian interface, this is fixed at 21 resources and you do not need to change this value. For Eclipse.net, the maximum number of resources that can display in the New Arrivals is 100.

·Use the Resource Type check boxes to select which resource types to include.

·Click Save once finished.
Top Ten
Click the Top Ten tab to see the settings. Note that in the Junior Librarian interface, this is known as "Most Popular Books" and is fixed at 21 items
·Enter the number of days to over which the news item will be calculated. This period is based on the Days since a resource was issued, not returned

·Use the checkboxes to tick which resource types to include.

·Select whether the resources should be Fiction, Non Fiction or Both

Click Save once finished to save the changes. To see the changes on the home page, you will need to refresh the page (using F5).
