If you have a webcam connected to the computer you can use this to take a photograph of the pupil to add to their record, directly from Circulate. The steps in this article explain how to add a photograph to a record using Circulate.

·Find and select a borrower in Circulate

·Click the WebCam  icon  from the Photograph section on the right side of the Circulate window.

·You may be prompted to allow access to the camera. Click Yes to allow SIlverlight to access your camera

·Next, the camera preview should then appear on-screen. Try to capture the photograph of the student within the guidelines, shown in a transparent grey over the camera preview

When you are ready to take a photo, click Take Snapshot

·You can click Take Snapshot as many times as you like and the photos will be displayed in the right menu

·Select the photo you wish to assign to the borrower and click Select Snapshot to assign it to the record

·The borrower will now be assigned that record in Circulate

The webcam feature may also be used directly from within a given borrower record card
