The reminders that are generated on a schedule will only be sent to users who have overdue books. For details on generating reminders for borrowers who have loans that are not overdue, click here.

Before running through the below it is recommended to set up the reminder settings, such as the Output, orientation and Recipient before scheduling reminders as the settings configured in that section will be used when they are generated. In addition, if these instructions are being used to configure scheduled Group Reminders then click here to find details on defining the necessary options before reading on.

The instructions below explain how to set up reminders to run at a regular interval.

·Click Tools / Schedule from the top horizontal menu or click Schedule from the tools bar on the right menu.

·The Scheduler interface will open. Look for either Individual Reminders or Group Reminders then click on the corresponding   to access the interval settings.

·Enter the desired settings to configure when and how often the Reminders should be generated.

The above example shows the scheduler settings for the Individual Reminders. However, the same settings apply to any of the tasks from the scheduler interface including Group and Statement Reminders.

·Click OK to save the changes to the of the tasks interval setting then click Close from the Scheduler window to keep the changes.

Once the interval settings have been configured then the scheduled reminders will generate at the defined date/time. Once the routine has completed any reminders that have been set to print will be sent to the output table where they can be viewed and printed. For details on how to do this see this topic.
